This restaurant is a nice old school style hangout where you can get great shakes and burgers. One note of caution: go when school is not in session. It's really crowded during the school year, as it's in a college town, and service is slow. This Cheeburger Cheeburger is located on Main St. in Downtown Newark, DE. They have free parking behind the restaurant. One of the great options they offer is build your own burger, with lots of toppings to choose from. You can also "make it a meal" by adding 2 of 4 sides, such as a side salad and fries, or coleslaw and onion rings. This Cheeburger usually has a special on groupon, so if you want to try it out, check groupon first. We went to this Cheeburger on a Friday night, in January, while the school winter break was still on. We were seated fairly quickly and given our menus. A few minutes later, a waitress came over and asked us what we would like to drink. We were only getting water so, nice and easy. She returned in about five minutes and took our order. She was really good with keeping up, as we all ordered the build your own burger. One person from our group, ordered practically every free topping on the list, including peanut butter (yes, peanut butter). Another, pulled out his phone, and had a note with toppings he had ordered in the past (again there are a lot to choose from). We also ordered a quesadilla as an appetizer. About fifteen minutes went by, when the appetizer was brought out. The waitress asked how everything was and refreshed our drinks. Fifteen minutes later, the main course arrived. The burgers were so full and big, most of us used our forks to eat them. Great place, great service, and great atmosphere. A+
