This restored stonehouse tavern sits right on the Schuykill Canal, in Pheonixville, PA. Welcoming atmosphere, great pub style food and drinks. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Huge BBQ pit outside. They also do parties. This place seems to be a favorite for locals and tourists alike. Those who live nearby, can walk or bike to Fitswater Station with ease, and leave their bikes at the convenient bike rack. Guests can enjoy their food out on the deck and watch small boats or paddle boarders making their way down the canal. Take in the scenery, and watch the gease and docks take a swim. They also have live entertainment from time to time, so check their schedule. The service and Fitswater Station is friendly and helpful. Although, when it's a bit crowded, you might need to flag down your wait staff if you need a drink refill, extra napkins etc. I suggest giving this place a try for lunch during the week to enjoy the experience this hidden gem has to offer.
